Submit Shidduch

I flew to Chicago for a shidduch. She met me at the airport. We went out motzei Shabbat. She did not let me pay for the dinner. I was interested. She took me for a drive in Chicago, showed me the places she likes and among them the beautiful Bahai Temple where she prays sometimes. I thought that if I had a shidduch arranged by my Rabbi at least the girl would be of the same faith. HS!

It was the first date with a new shidduch and the father opens the door when I go to pick her up. He asks me to sit down for a minute so we can talk. This is not atypical so I do. Then he starts telling me how his daughter is insane, would make a horrible mother and wife and I should stay clear. I appreciated the honesty and quickly excused myself. HS!

I was told the girl I was going out with had a prosthetic leg. That did not matter to me. We went for dinner and were having a great time. At the end the girl excused herself and when she got up her leg did not follow. HS!

Ok, so i was in the states and had been set up on a shidduch. I'm all dressed to go and my hostess takes one look at me, pales, and runs to the phone. I asked her what was wrong, she said she just had to run and tell the girls parents not to worry even though I wasn't wearing a hat! I pretty much made up my mind at that point! HS!

I was set up on a date with someone with whom I had absolutely nothing in common. I fell asleep in the car on the ride home. It was just that boring. HS!

I wasn't interested in him after our first date, but various people had convinced me to keep seeing him over what was a tough couple of weeks at work for him. One night, took me to a casino, ignored me all night, won a considerable sum of money, sent me to cash the chips, did not even buy me a drink. Suffice to say that I'm married, and he isn't! HS!

At a Purim party last night I was having a good time and drinking a bit. The entire night I kept looking at this gorgeous girl dressed as a viking from the corner of my eye. At the end of the night I finally got the courage to go up and say hello to her. When I did she did not respond. Turned out she was a viking statue fitting into the bars decor. HS!

Went to a masked Purim party with my boyfriend dressed as a king and I was a queen. At the end of the night we all had to take off our masks and reveal ourselves to every else at the party. When we took off our masks the guy I spent the whole night with was not my boyfriend! My boyfriend left the party early and never told me! HS!
